Of course we are trying to keep up this record for the future, but it is only possible with our crew. They are our most important asset, therefore we have worked very hard in order to achieve the current high crew retention of 86% which enable us to offer a unique personal feeling that can normally only be achieved on smaller vessels. This is made possible thanks to our talented Hotel Operations team composed only by professionals with an impressive background in their role yet young and flexible to follow the new trends the market demands.    

CSS has realized from the start that the crew is the most important part of the onboard  operation. That is why we go to great lengths to hire the most dynamic and talented people with an attitude that says “I am here to serve”.  Our CSS Academy in the Philippines trains our new employees and returning crew in the areas in which they are going to work onboard with the main focus on guest satisfaction, this also includes languages proficiency courses. We train on cleanliness and working cost-effectively without reducing the quality of the product. Our restaurant staff is trained to serve food but also to have knowledge of the various menus and buffets in order to explain to the guests what food is available.

We continuously monitor our crew for the more talented employees in order to promote these members of staff to higher positions which also helps to maintain a constant excellent product delivery.

In the technical catering we have managed to achieve the clients’ satisfaction thanks to our cooperative and always adaptive approach, our service oriented crew and of course the quality of the meals prepared in the galley and served to the guests. We always strieve after guests regardless of where we are. Our operation startup team is always ready during new activities implementation to support our Heads of department and crew to excell in their duties.
