CSS has a very high passenger retention rate. It is one of the highest in the industry, around 43%. But why should a passenger return always on the same vessels when there are so many newer and cheaper ones ? Because the personal treatment and service passengers were given made their holidays wonderful.
This unique personal feeling can normally only be achieved on smaller vessels (think about the service you get in a small family hotel, it is more personal than in the big chains). Nevertheless, we manage to maintain the highest passenger satisfaction.
For the last 8 years, our passenger satisfaction rates have always been consistent: 90-91% for food quality and 93-95% for service (information from our internal survey). In just 4 years time, we have increased our score by 60-65%; at the time of CSS’s take-over, the reputation was in the negative.
